What are the payment methods? How can I customize them?

Payment methods are the available online payment services for invoice paying.
To customize your payment methods go to, Settings ➝ Payment Integration ➝ ‘Config’

One of these customized methods can be used by your clients to quickly pay invoices online.

Currently, zistemo supports 4 online payment methods:

PayPal
Stripe
2Checkout
Braintree

You can choose to make either or all active.

All active payment options will be available for attaching to an invoice on the invoice page.

How do the clients pay invoices?

To pay the Invoice online your client has to be invited to join zistemo. How to do it please read here

Your client’s payment options will be displayed in the invoice preview

Your client will be able to make an online payment by clicking on ‘Pay Now’ on the invoice preview.

2Checkout Payment Gateway

With zistemo, your clients can pay invoices online through their “Client” profile. To make it possible, you should integrate your account with one or several payment gateways. One of such payment gateways is 2Checkout.
To start the integration, go to “Settings” -> “Payment Integration” -> click the “Active” button.

Then follow the steps described in the popup window to fill the fields “2Co Account #” and “Secret Word” -> click “Save”.

Now you can choose 2Checkout as a payment method on your invoices:

In this case, your clients will be able to pay these invoices by using their credit cards

Braintree as a Payment Gateway

As they put it in their own words: “Braintree is a simple, robust way to accept payments or enable commerce from almost anywhere — in your mobile app or online.”

You can now add a Braintree as one of the payment gateways available in your zistemo account. It means that your clients can pay invoices online and you will receive money through the Braintree.

To start, first, you should integrate a Braintree with your zistemo account. Go to “Settings” -> “Payment Integration” -> click the “Active” button next to Braintree logo:

Next, follow the steps indicated in the pop-up window:

Copy “Public Key”, “Private Key” and “Merchant ID” from Braintree (step 4 in the description),

and fill the appropriate fields marked below:

Then find “Merchant Account ID”:

If you want to support several currencies within Braintree, then you need the related “merchant accounts”. Copy their IDs to zistemo as shown below:

Congrats! Now you can invoice your clients with a Braintree in different currencies. Remember! Once you have filled all fields, click “Save”.

From now on, when you will create invoices, do not forget to choose Braintree as a payment method.
