Just go to Contacts -> Staff -> click ‘Grant Permissions’ on the end menu of needed member:

Then check the reports which should be available on this member’s account and uncheck the reports they shouldn’t have access to:

Very Important: some reports are ‘granted by role’ and cannot be switched off – it depends on the role of the staff member.

Also, on some reports, you can select which data should be accessible:
– Own – only own data
– Team – own and data of members of the team where this user is a department leader (more about teams here)
– All – all data (data of all members).

 

If you change a permission on that setting, it also changes the main menu setting for the user

Go to Contacts -> Staff -> open the line end menu of the chosen member of the staff and click ‘Hide main menu items’:

If the member role is Capture Data, then you can hide the following menu points:

If you will hide all points, then no items will be shown on the menu line. The Capture Data user will see the Time Tracking page by default, so he will be able to log time to his timesheet:

Also, this user will be able to create his expenses through the Quick Toolbox button:

If the member role is a Team Member, then you can hide the following menu points:

If you hide/active a report on the main menu items, it will be also de-elected/selected on the report permissions for the user

If all points are hidden, then this team member will see the Dashboard page by default. Also, he can create an expense or log hours (Time Tracking page) through the related buttons in the Quick Toolbox:
