• Interfusion is an innovative style of non-objective abstract expressionism that was developed and coined by Gary M. Thomas. It is a movement that pays homage to great artists by fusing different styles together that complement one another. For this series of Interfusion paintings, Gary has combined 5 great artists who are dead; Vasily Kandinsky, Joan Miró, Piet Mondrian, Jackson Pollock, and Richard Pousette-Dart. Gary has studied these artists so well that he came to believe that just because the artist has died does not mean that their school of thought has died. Rather than copying these artists, Gary demonstrates through Interfusion the spirit of the artist and where these artists could have gone.
